Membership to the AVI provides benefits whether you are a current student to become a property valuer or an existing professional
working within the industry. The AVI is owned and controlled by members who are all registered property valuers proud to be part
of a highly ethical valuation body.
Associate Membership
If you are an existing Property Valuer seeking to,

Membership Requirements for Associate Membership
-Registration as a practicing Real Estate Valuer
-References from at least two other registered valuers, one with over 10yrs experience/one which should be an AVI member known
to the applicant
-A professional occupation record with high moral and ethical work principles. Valuers with a history of claims for negligence or poor
professional character cannot become (or remain) members of the AVI.
Student Membership
If you are currently studying to become a Property Valuer, seeking to embrace the benefits from,

-Considerable fee reductions extended to student membership and professional development seminars, and

Membership Requirements for Student Membership
-All students must be enrolled in a Property Valuation course approved by the State Government as being satisfactory to enable
graduates to become registered valuers under the various State Valuers Registration Acts can obtain student membership.
-Proof of enrollment in current course.
